Who is this guy?

James Lyle is a Pacific Northwest actor, playwright, and enormous nerd who suffers the delusion that a lifetime of watching British television, a love of all things art deco, and a PhD in theoretical linguistics has somehow qualified him to write adventure novels in the style of P. G. Wodehouse. He's been seen in public dressed as both a Klingon and a Starfleet officer (though not at the same time), but in his heart feels more like a Vulcan. He's never met an alpine lake in which he did not immediately feel the urge to skinny dip. He frequently finds it necessary to write about himself in the third person, but he doesn't enjoy it. He lives in Seattle with his wife and three cats.
